SDPI to picket national highway on Tuesday

January 29, 2017 12:00 am | Updated 04:11 am IST - KOZHIKODE:

The Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) will picket the National Highway on January 31 in protest against the “anti- people policies” of the Bharatiya Janata Party-led government at the Centre. The protest will be held between 10 a.m. and 10.30 a.m. In the last three years, the BJP government has been employing its political and cultural fascism in the country. It was going all out to implement the agenda of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh to throttle opposing voices and individual freedom, SDPI State secretary P.K. Usman and district president Mustafa Komeri told a news conference here on Saturday.
