Henrico man arrested for Keswick Court shooting

PRESS RELEASE FROM THE CHESTERFIELD COUNTY POLICE DEPARTMENT:

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, VA – Police have arrested a man wanted in connection with a shooting that occurred on Wednesday, Nov. 16, in the 3900 block of Keswick Court.

Police responded to the area of Keswick Garden Apartments at about 10 p.m. on Nov. 16 and found a man who had been shot. The victim, 22, had sought help from a nearby apartment resident, who called police. The victim was transported to VCU Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries.

Police obtained warrants for Alfred J. Randall, 30, for aggravated malicious wounding, possession of a weapon by a convicted felon and use of a firearm in the commission of a felony in relation to this incident. Randall was arrested at about 10 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22, in Chesterfield. He is being held in the Chesterfield County Jail without bond pending a hearing in Chesterfield County General District Court at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 23.
