Zayn Malik fans were pretty disappointed when the former One Direction star decided not to tour after the release of his first solo album, Mind of Mine. Apparently, his management, First Access Entertainment, was even more disappointed.

The talent company just terminated their relationship with Zayn after representing him ever since he left One Direction in 2015.

According to Variety, First Access decided it was time to part ways because Zayn was difficult to work with. After the release of his last album, Zayn reportedly declined many promotional opportunities and was adamant about not touring.

Apparently, Zayn's now former manager Sarah Stennett has long been struggling with Zayn's attitude, but his behavior since his painful breakup with Gigi Hadid was the final straw. "Sarah’s been trying to make the relationship work for two years but Zayn’s hot-headed and has let his tongue run away with him one too many times,” another source close to the situation told The Sun.

Zayn has been very open and honest about his struggles with anxiety in the past, and there's a chance that could have played a role in the professional split.

Stennett seemed to hint that dropping Zayn as a client was a decision made, in part, for Zayn's benefit. “Sometimes in life you have to make extremely difficult decisions to effect positive change for everyone," she told Variety of the decision.

Still, the timing of this move seems strange. Zayn just dropped the second single off his upcoming album "Let Me" and is currently planning a tour.
