Huddersfield vs. Manchester United 2017 live stream: Time, TV channel, and how to watch online

Manchester United need to put in a stronger performance after a weird mini-slump in form.

Results have definitely been going Manchester United’s way this season, but their last two matches have seen them hit a weird kind of flat lull in form, one that they need to snap out of pronto. As they get set to visit Huddersfield Town on Saturday, their fans will be very eager to see an improved showing from the Red Devils.

In their past two matches, Manchester United have scored just one goal — and that only due to a severe goalkeeping error — and have spent very little time showing any real proactive agenda in their play on the pitch. Defenders of manager Jose Mourinho will point out that they had a pair of tough road matches to Liverpool and Benfica, as Anfield and the Estadio da Luz aren’t the easiest places to play in, while his detractors point out that United hardly even tried to push some clear advantages in both matches and were lucky to escape with the results they did.

What Manchester United need for the sake of their form and confidence — not to mention their fans’ ease of mind — is a resounding victory where they’re in control from start to finish. No more of this overly-conservative approach to grind games out — they need to come out flying and punch Huddersfield in the mouth early and often, or a whole lot more questions are going to get asked that Mourinho and company don’t want to deal with.

The injury news is still not great for Manchester United, who continue to be without Paul Pogba, Marouane Fellaini, Michael Carrick, Zlatan Ibrahimovic, and Marcos Rojo. Huddersfield Town are in little better shape, missing Jon Stakovic, Kasey Palmer, Steve Mounie, and Michael Hefele.
