Premium grade portable barriers from The Australian Trellis Door Company were installed at Wolfgang Puck’s restaurant in LAX International Airport in Los Angeles. Wolfgang Puck is an internationally renowned celebrity chef.

The mobile barriers installed at Wolfgang Puck’s LAX restaurant are configured in a multi-angled shape to accommodate the unique contours of the storefront. Being trackless and freestanding, these portable barriers do not need any headroom or an overhead support structure, simplifying the installation and saving money too since no structural bulkheads are required.

Key features of ATDC’s portable barriers include standard heights of 2020mm or 2520mm (or custom heights as required); unlimited span due to unique semi-modular design, which also eliminates the need for heavy, unsafe and unwieldy removable mullions; sharp precision angled lines and high quality gloss powder-coated finish blending in with storefront aesthetics; precision engineered high tensile steel sections; wall mounted and floor mounted locking options; and compact and sturdy construction, yet very easy to operate running on a series of low friction heavy duty 75mm thermoplastic rubber non marking castors.

ATDC’s portable barriers are also available in aluminium construction to withstand the highly corrosive environment of marine installations. The natural anodised and UV-resistant powder-coated finishes provide extra anti-corrosion benefits to the installation.

The barriers are OH&S tested under the Australian legislation for safety and supplied with a detailed, written and independently audited WHS Risk Assessment. The portable barriers have also been independently tested in an approved NATA laboratory for dynamic impact, simulated climbing and wind force overturn conditions under the Australian Standard AS 4687 -2007 Temporary Fencing and Hoardings. Additional testing has been successfully completed for emergency egress under the Building Code of Australia where required.

To prevent pilferage, ATDC’s portable barriers are also available in a double diamond lattice pattern with the steel mesh tightly interwoven to prevent anyone from accessing stored merchandise through the barrier, creating an extremely effective loss prevention tool.

ATDC’s portable barriers provide temporary security for pop-up stores, kiosks and other temporary retail tenancies, access control for shopping centres and public buildings such as railway stations, airports, ferry stations and bus terminals, and WorkSafe applications such as construction sites, sports stadiums, public events, entertainment venues and warehouses and loading docks. ATDC’s portable barriers are also available for hire for long, medium or short term periods.

ATDC’s portable barriers are now sold in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth and Canberra as well as in all regional towns across the country including Newcastle, Wollongong, Geelong, Townsville, Hobart and Cairns. ATDC’s portable barriers are also being successfully exported to Singapore, Vietnam and Hong Kong and throughout Southeast Asia as well as the Pacific Islands.
