Sue Shepple Obituary

Sue Ann Shepple ne Sullivan, 73, of Littleton, MA, passed away peacefully with family at her side on July 17, 2016 after a long, strong battle with Parkinsons disease and dementia. She was born in Elmhurst, Illinois on May 14, 1943, daughter of the late William and Charlotte (Williams) Sullivan. She grew up in Indianapolis, Indiana, attended Purdue University and later taught Catholic elementary school for a few years. She married the love of her life John Shepple in 1962. They moved to Littleton in 1970. Sue loved photography, the beach, a good book and was even a published author. She worked for H&R Block for many years. She was an active parishioner of St. Annes Church in Littleton. Sue is survived by her husband John N. Shepple of Littleton; her children Deborah Jo Shepple of Bath, New Hampshire; J. Kevin Shepple and his wife Lisa, of Bolton, Massachusetts; Theresa Michelle Chernosky and her husband Edwin, of Gaithersburg, Maryland; and Kristin Nicole Szpakowski and her husband David, of Wilbraham, Massachusetts; her brothers and sisters Stephen Sullivan of Indianapolis, Indiana; Mary Jo Fitzgerald of Troy, Wisconsin; Margaret Price of Farmington Hills, Michigan; Mark Sullivan of Sullivan, Missouri; Catherine Dunwiddie of Ossian, Indiana; and Timothy Sullivan of Fort Wayne, Indiana; and her sister in law Linda Harp of Doraville, Georgia. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and many loving nieces and nephews. She has joined her daughter Stephanie Ann Shepple in heaven. Her kind, caring ways and strength will be missed by all who knew her. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in St. Annes Church, 75 King Street, Littleton, MA on Thursday July 21, 2016 at 11 am. Interment Westlawn Cemetery, Littleton. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Sues memory to American Parkinsons Disease Association (APDA) at www.apdaparkinson.org.
