Do you believe in deja vu? Do you believe in deja vu? See what we did there? Seriously, because if you were the type to actually believe in the experience, we’ve got a pretty compelling case for you in the form of Acid Mothers Temple. Much like we reported last December, the Japanese psych-rockers are returning to the U.S. for a lengthy tour of our country this upcoming March and April. Oh snap, we just gave ourselves the heebie-jeebies.
The tour kicks off March 23rd in Los Angeles. From there, its a few shows scattered around the Pacific Northwest, then on into the Southwest and tge Midwest by the start of April. After some more gigs in the Great White North, it’s onward to a string of shows on the East Coast, the South and Mid-South, and a final chunk of shows in Texas before wrapping up on April 25th in San Diego, CA. Joining the extreme trip outfit on tour as an opener will be the interestingly-named Shilpa Ray & Her Happy Hookers. They’re certain to bring a particular family-friendly appeal to the show for sure.
With space open for SXSW 2011, the band could also make a repeat stop at the Austin, TX-based festival, so stay tuned for more info on that as it’s announced.
