The Old-School Denim Brand Sarah Jessica Parker and Blake Lively Love Has Never Been So Affordable
If you were famous in the 1980s, you probably wore Jordache jeans. If you weren’t famous, you likely stumbled across the brand’s signature head-horse logo more than a handful of times in paparazzi pictures and fashion shoots from then.. The brand reemerged in the early 00s with a notably lower waistline, perfect for the low-rise denim movement of the time. Lindsay Lohan was obviously spotted in a pair. Kate Bosworth, Blake Lively and Sarah Jessica Parker, too.
Jordache went away again for a bit but has now relaunched an exclusive collection of vintage styles. This time, the styles are high-waisted and so affordable it’s hard to believe the prices aren’t missing an extra zero. The jeans used to go for hundreds, but now you can easily buy a pair for under $30 or a couple for just $100.
The exclusive collection is available to shop only at Walmart, marking the second time the brand has worked with the retailer. The last time around, Sarah Jessica Parker was the face of the campaign and told InStyle in 2015, “I grew up with this brand being something that you covet and long for as a young girl.” The jeans were so iconic, the brand’s commercials featured the slogan, “You’ve got the look, the Jordache look.” You can definitely get that same unmistakable Jordache look with the latest exclusive collection because so much of the line features the logo and brand name prominently.
