The post gained over 12,000 likes and the Fawlty Towers star also shared the same post on his Instagram.

A Fish Called Wanda was a popular 80s film which starred John alongside Jamie, Kevin Kline and Michael Palin.

The movie was based on four very different people who team up to commit an armed robbery, then try to doublecross each other for the cash.

Elsewhere, John recently joined a website called Cameo which allows fans to request and purchase personalised videos from their favourite stars.

The Monty Python actor is giving his fans a chance to purchase a clip for a fee of £249 per person.

The comic told fans on the site that he would prefer to send insulting videos as opposed to kind messages.

John cheekily joked he had been "reduced to doing shoutouts" in a bid to earn some money.

In a short introduction video, the Fawlty Towers legend said: "Hello. I'm John Cleese.

"I've been reduced to doing these shoutouts so that I can send messages to your loved ones."
