Frenchy's Chicken closing 4 Houston-area restaurants

HOUSTON – Frenchy's Chicken will close four restaurants around the Houston area Monday.

The company said the four locations are owned by a "non-compliant franchisee" and will be closed on Monday.

In a statement to KPRC2, the company said, "Frenchy's Chicken has been committed to serving the greater Houston community since we opened in 1969. As we previously announced, some locations are owned and operated by franchisees. As part of our ongoing service commitment to our customers and the integrity of our brand, we recently chose to terminate our agreement with a non-compliant franchisee."

The list of locations closing are:

  • Fuqua Location -- 11051 Fuqua, Houston 77089
  • Jones at West Road Location -- 9344 Jones Rd., Houston 77065
  • Kirby Location at 8110 Kirby Dr., Houston 77054
  • Missouri City Location at 1737 FM 2234, Missouri City 77489

As of Monday, Frenchy's will have 16 total stores open.
