Amitabh Bachchan Covid-19 caller tune to be replaced with a new caller tune ahead of vaccination drive

The coronavirus public service announcement by Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan about the preventive measures to fight Covid-19 while making phone calls in the country is being replaced with a new caller tune ahead of the vaccination drive .
The new caller tune has a female voice and spreads awareness about the vaccination drive.
Unlike the previous one which began with a coughing sound followed by a cautionary note on COVID-19 appropriate behaviour and precautions, the new one educates people about the vaccines developed in India that are safe and effective.

"The voice says, "Naya saal Covid-19 ki vaccine ke roop main nayi aasha ki kiran lekar aaya hai (The new year has brought a new ray of hope in the form of vaccines against Covid-19). Bharat main bani vaccine surakshit aur prabhavi hai. Covid ke viruddh humey pratirodhak shamta deti hai (Vaccines developed in India are safe and effective. They will provide immunity against Covid-19 virus). Bhartiya vaccine par bharosa Karen. Apni baari aane par vaccine avashya le. Afawaon par bharosa na kare (Have trust in the vaccines made in India and do get vaccinated when it's your turn. Do not believe in rumours)."
The new caller tune also emphasises on following coronavirus precautions including wearing a mask, maintaining social distance and washing hands, even after taking the vaccine. It also urges people to continue with COVID-19 precautions despite the roll-out of vaccines.

According to officials, for those who are not in the high-risk category, it will take six to seven months for the vaccine to become available.
