SCOTS TV presenter Catriona Shearer is a familiar face on telly across the nation.
The journalist and mum-of-two is most famous as being one of the top newsreaders on BBC's Reporting Scotland.

Who is Catriona Shearer?
The Scottish journalist was born in Glasgow in 1981.
Her career began after she graduated from Edinburgh’s Napier University with a BA Hons in Journalism.
In 2003 she switched Edinburgh for London to work as a journalist on BBC Radio Five Live’s Breakfast Programme.

She also worked on the Drive programme, Midday News and Weekend Breakfast show during her time at the radio station.
The telly presenter later moved to BBC Radio Wales as a co-presenter on the Sportstime and as a producer for the station.
Before becoming a news presenter in 2007, Catriona Shearer returned to Glasgow and worked as a producer on Newsdrive and Scotland Live as well as presenting traffic updates on Good Morning Scotland.
She married hubby David Balfour, an engineer, at Edinburgh Castle in 2014.
In 2016, she had her first child – a daughter named Remi.
Last September the telly presenter announced she was pregnant with her second child.
And today she delighted followers sharing snaps of her newborn daughter Biba Bluebell Balfour.

The journalist is also known as a Scottish Sun Columnist, as well as a freelance journalist. She has written for the likes of NME, Historic Scotland and The List.
She has also appeared on Only An Excuse? as well as BBC Radio Scotland’s overnight New Music Zone.
