In this week’s roundup, new seasons are on the way for series on CBS, TLC, Discovery Channel, HGTV and DIY.

Summer reality series Big Brother has been renewed by CBS for a 19th and (a milestone for the series) 20th season, for broadcast in 2017 and 2018. The show has consistently been among the summer’s top-rated series since its debut back in the summer of 2000. All three of its weekly broadcasts fall in the five top programs for adults 18-34 and the top 10 programs for adults 18-49 and adults 25-54. The U.S. version of Big Brother is hosted by Julie Chen.

DIY Network has renewed its popular Music City-based series Nashville Flipped for a second season. Now in production, the second season, which will premiere in February 2017, stars contractor Troy Dean Shafer who, along with his team, will peel back layers of previous renovations to reveal the original beauty of forgotten homes.

Over at TLC, production has officially started on a second season of Outdaughtered, which is slated to premiere in November. The second season will follow Danielle and Adam Busby and their five-year-old daughter Blayke as they adjust to life after bringing home the only all-female set of quintuplets in the U.S.

TLC has also renewed its constructed reality series 90 Day Fiancé for a new season. Premiering on Sunday, September 11, the latest season will follow a new crop of American-born suitors and their foreign lovers as they try to meet family, book a venue and get married all in 90 days, lest the suitors’ foreign flames be forced to return to their home countries. Following the premiere, a new spin-off series, 90 Day Fiancé: Happily Ever After? will revisit the most memorable couples from previous seasons.

Meanwhile, Discovery Channel is bringing back its hit series Fast N’ Loud for a new season, which will kick off with a special one-hour episode on Monday, August 29. The special episode will follow stars Richard Rawlings (pictured left), the mastermind behind Gas Monkey Garage, and Aaron Kaufman (pictured right), the mechanical whiz who resurrects former hot rods and classic cars, as they take a much-needed break on the beach while responding to questions and comments submitted by fans and reminisce about some of their proudest moments with the Gas Monkey Garage crew.

The proper season premiere for the second season will be on Monday, September 5, when it will beck to business as usual, with Kaufman restoring a vintage Harley Davidson in celebration of Discovery’s Harley and the Davidsons, a three-night original, scripted mini-series set to debut after the premiere. Fast N’ Loud is produced for Discovery Channel by Pilgrim Media Group, with Craig Piligan and Eddie Rohwedder serving as executive producers along with Craig Coffman from Discovery, and Todd Lefkowitz who is coordinating producer.

Finally, HGTV has renewed My Lottery Dream Home for a second season. Featuring 10 episodes, season two will premiere in January 2017. The show follows series star David Bromstad as he takes lottery winners on the search for a new home that will see them upgrade to high-dollar properties. Over 13 million viewers tuned in to catch season one.
