Discovery Channel’s Shark Week might be over, but Mariah Carey’s is just beginning. The singer, who is currently on a yacht vacation from her Las Vegas residency, posted a video of a harrowing encounter with some wildlife on her Instagram on Friday. In the video, a large shark can be seen just under the waves, swimming near her boat as Carey points to it.

“O.K., this is not O.K.,” Carey says in the video, “I know it’s a shark and I’m not supposed to be scared, but I’m scared—I’m upset.” The video ends with the shark turning and swimming away from the boat, apparently finished with terrifying wetsuited songstresses for the day. One of Carey’s followers helpfully pointed out that the shark is probably a nurse shark and therefore harmless—though nurse sharks are ranked high on the list of documented shark bites on humans, mostly due to their docile appearance inviting people to get too close. They won’t leap out of the water, though, so Mariah Carey, thankfully, is safe.

Carey has been floating around the tropics all week, on a break from her Butterfly Returns residency in Vegas, which has been ongoing since July. She’s posted a number of photos of herself in wetsuits of various color combinations, including one low-cut black one with pink zippers that People described as “unusual.”
