UFC on Fuel TV 10 Delivers Record Prime Time TV Ratings to the Network

Every UFC on Fuel TV 10 Fighter Returned Clean Drug Test Results

UFC on Fuel TV 10: Nogueira vs. Werdum on Saturday, June 8, gave Fuel TV its most watched prime time block ever, according to Nielsen Media Research data.

The prime time block, which consisted of the one-hour live Prefight Show and the three-hour main card, averaged 250,000 total viewers. Fuel TV officials noted that number represents a nearly 500-percent increase over the June 2012 average for Saturday night prime time blocks.

The UFC on Fuel TV 10 live event by itself averaged 313,000 viewers, making it the second most-watched live fight event on the network. Only UFC on Fuel TV 8: Silva vs. Stann had a larger audience, drawing 485,000 viewers.

The audience for UFC on Fuel TV 10 peaked from 9:45 p.m. ET to 10:00 p.m. ET with 399,000 viewers.

“The performance of UFC on Fuel TV 10 shows how the UFC, the world’s fastest growing sport, delivers strong audiences for FOX Sports,” says Patrick Crakes, Senior Vice President, Programming and Research, FOX Sports Media Group. “We’re excited about the continued ability of the UFC to provide great ratings in the key male demos as we head towards the launch of FOX Sports 1, America’s new sports network, on Aug. 17.”

A rematch between UFC heavyweights Antonio Rodrigo Nogueira and Fabricio Werdum headlined the UFC on Fuel TV 10 fight card. Werdum won the bout with a second-round submission.
