The former Persico’s Market property in Feura Bush is set to be auctioned off April 28 in downtown Albany.

The New York Business Development Corp. obtained a $214,000 foreclosure judgement against the store, which closed last year.

The auction will take place at 10 a.m. at the Albany County Courthouse at 16 Eagle St. in Albany.

The location was known as Houghtaling’s Market for a long time before becoming Persico’s.

The property is on the market now for $300,000. The sellers say it would be ideal for an off-brand gas station/convenience store.

The NYBDC gives out loans to small businesses.

The Persico family has owned several businesses in the area, including Persico Oil and Persico Hardware. Sam Persico died in 2013, and Guy Persico died in 2012.
