Crocs Founder Boedecker Arrested On DUI Charge
BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - The co-founder of Crocs faces a DUI charge in Boulder after police found him sleeping in his car.
Officers say George Boedecker, 51, appeared highly intoxicated when they arrested him Sunday night.
A woman called police when she saw a man passed out at the wheel of a Porsche with the engine running.
Police say that car was parked partly on the sidewalk and report Boedecker told him his girlfriend had been driving and they had a fight.
Officers say he implied singer Taylor Swift was his girlfriend.
In addition to his work with Crocs, Boedecker founded the Colorado based nonprofit The Boedecker Foundation.
