Love & Hip Hop New York’s resident advice guru, Yandy Smith is finally speaking out about her boyfriend, Mendeecee Harris’ sexual abuse charges. The music industry manager for rapper Vado and other acts faced multiple criminal charges of child molestation. Harris was accused of engaging in sexual acts with a 15-year-old girl two years ago in New Jersey. Bergen County New Jersey prosecutors cite that the music mogul requested oral sex from the girl and fondled her body parts on several occasions.

Harris was looking at a steep minimum 20 year sentence, but walked out the court a free man on Feb 8; cleared of all charges. Following his victory in court, Harris’ attorney released a statement on his client’s behalf.

“My client and his family are jubilant that these charges are no behind him. This is real drama, not TV.”

Smith, his Love & Hip Hop co-star and girlfriend kept quiet about her feelings toward the trial even while being badgered with questions from curious fans whenever the reality show aired. Smith finally broke her silence following her beau’s vindication. She posted a picture of Harris with his son, posing with a look of relief on his face.

“No matter how much they tried to rip you of your pride, defame your name, degrade you…you kept your faith in God and told me to keep my head up. So I did. Not Guilty! I say it again NOT GUILTY!!!” she posted as a caption under the photo.

Smith also said that she was happy to get back to business and would be providing an exclusive interview on the whole ordeal through her website, EverythingGirlsLove.com.

“Truth always comes out…NOT [GUILTY}!!!!!....No weapon formed against me shall prosper! Now back to business! https://www.everythinggirlslove.com will have a very exclusive interview on Monday you don’t want to miss this one! Log on,” she wrote.

Mandeecee’s Harris is out of the woods for now. The reality star is still facing another set of criminal charges involving trafficking $2.5 Million in cocaine and heroin.

The reality show follows the lives of 13 urban socialites, living in New York City who deal with struggles in the entertainment industry and their love lives. Along for the ride with Smith and Harris, are fellow castmates Erica Mena, Rich Dollaz, Jen the Pen, Consequence, Olivia Longott, Joe Budden, Tahiry Jose, Raqi Thunda, Lore'l, Winter Ramos, and Rashidah Ali. 

Fans waiting to see catch the next portion of Love & Hip Hop will have to hold on one more week. Episode 6 has been pushed back and will air on, Feb 18. at 8/7c on VH1.
