Freshfields advises UGL Limited on its acquisition of DTZ

Freshfields advises UGL Limited on its acquisition of DTZInternational law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has advised the Australian listed diversified services company, UGL Limited, on its acquisition of the trading operations of DTZ, the UK listed property services company. DTZ’s operations were acquired from its administrators through a pre-pack sale – the first pre-pack of a UK listed company.

Freshfields’ multidisciplinary team was led by corporate partners Piers Prichard Jones, Jennifer Bethlehem and Edward Braham and restructuring and insolvency Of Counsel, Anne Sharp. The team also included corporate senior associates Gareth Camp and Charlie Hayes, together with corporate associates Tom Godwin and Freddie New, banking partner Ian Frost and banking senior associate Catherine Park and restructuring and insolvency associates Kathryn Bruce and Natalie Tolhurst. Partner Jonathan Cooklin and associate Paul Concannon advised on tax matters and partner Nicholas Squire and senior associate Alice Greenwell on employment matters.
