Natalie, 35, revealed the results of her training as she stepped out in black leggings and a winter coat as she pushed along a buggy.

Natalie, who has daughters Eliza, eight, and Joanie, two, has been working hard to get ready for the marathon.

The mum-of-two will be joined on April 28 by co-stars Adam Woodyatt, Emma Barton, Jamie Borthwick, Tanya Franks, Kellie Shirley and Jake Wood to run the marathon for Barbara.

Barbara Windsor's husband Scott reveals she doesn't recognise their own house as she battles Alzheimer's disease

The 81-year-old was diagnosed with Alzheimer's in 2014 and husband Scott,  revealed the sad news last year.

Dementia Revolution was created by dementia charities Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer’s Research UK for the event’s Charity of the Year.

The group, who grew close to Barbara during her two-decade long reign on the BBC One soap as Peggy Mitchell, joined the Dementia Revolution in her honour and are working hard to raise £100,000 which will help fund ground-breaking research into the disease.

Earlier this year, Barbara told The Sun: “It means so much to me to see some of my closest friends coming together to support this cause.

“And I know it will mean a lot to everyone else living with dementia.”

Scott, 55, added: “It is such an amazing show of their love and friendship towards Barbara.

“It’s one thing to be friends with someone, but when people say that they’re going to give up their spare time and much needed days off and instead dedicate them to a cause that means so much, then that really is extraordinary.

“To both Barbara and me it’s so incredibly special.”
