Hype Man Flavor Flav Takes a Second Chance on Fried Chicken in Las Vegas

A little later than predicted, the second celebrity to launch a chicken-focused restaurant in 2018 now has an official “grand opening” date for Flavor Flav’s Chicken and Vinny’s Pizza.

The famed hype man, rapper, reality star, and veteran of fronting fried chicken emporiums, has teamed with Vinny Cimino, operator of Vinny’s Pizzeria in Boulder City and remodeled the 1,430 square-foot former home of 2 Dos Portillos at 139 Water St. in Henderson.

The easy-to-find location opposite the Rainbow Club & Casino and the Eldorado Casino will open its doors on Monday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m., following a ribbon cutting by the Chamber of Commerce.

Still to announce future hours and and full menu, diners can expect the return of the Flavor Flav “secret recipe” chicken, plus greatest hits from the Boulder City restaurant, known for its thin, stuffed, and Chicago-style pizza, pasta, calzones, sandwiches, cheese fries, plus cannoli and cheesecake.
