Wisconsin man dies in ATV crash

A 31-year-old Wisconsin man was killed in an all-terrain vehicle crash Saturday south of Hayward, authorities said.
The Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office reported that a 911 caller came upon the crash scene around 6:20 a.m. along Maple Terrace Drive in the Town of Edgewater. Pronounced dead at the scene was John P. Marshall of Onalaska, Wis.
Authorities said the incident likely happened several hours before the crash site was discovered. Marshall was not wearing a helmet and there were no known witnesses to the crash.
The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is continuing to investigate.
