Man in critical condition after Opp shooting

OPP, AL (WSFA) - A man was injured in a shooting early Sunday morning in Opp.
According to the Opp Police Department, officers responded to a shots fired call at the “Inbox” building on Barnes Street at around 12:22 a.m. Once there, they found a 24-year-old man suffering from gunshot wounds.
The victim was taken to Mizell Memorial Hospital and later transferred to Southeast Medical Center. He is listed in critical condition.
The investigation is ongoing.
