AVON, CT — A pond in Avon where Fotis Dulos and his children have water skied is the latest area authorities are searching for missing New Canaan mother-of-five Jennifer Farber Dulos, according to New Canaan police.

"Today a component of this investigation is being conducted by the Connecticut State Police Dive Team as they search a body of water located on Old Farms Road in Avon," stated Police Lt. Jason Ferraro, adding that investors also were back at the garbage collection facility in Hartford searching for clues.

The move comes 19 days after Jennifer Dulos disappeared, and a day after Fotis Dulos, her estranged husband, posted bond and was released from jail. He and girlfriend Michelle Troconis are charged with tampering with evidence in connection with the case, to which both pleaded not guilty Tuesday.

Since his release, Fotis Dulos has been spotted jogging, grocery shopping and meeting with a probation officer, all while wearing a GPS monitoring device.

Wednesday's search also follows a plea from Jennifer Dulos' family and friends for help in solving the case. Spokesperson Carrie Luft released the statement, which also thanked the community and law enforcement for their support, Tuesday night.

Fotis Dulos is an avid water skier, and he reportedly took his children to the pond to practice the sport, writes the Hartford Courant. His estranged wife said in court documents in the couple's current divorce proceedings that Fotis Dulos over-trained the children in water skiing, reports the Stamford Advocate.

In the days since Jennifer Dulos' disappearance, authorities have searched several properties in the Farmington and Avon areas, in addition to the garbage plant, Jennifer Dulos' New Canaan home and a family property in Pound Ridge, NY.

Norm Pattis, Fotis Dulos' attorney, gave an interview to NBC Connecticut Wednesday in which he said that the public should not rush to judgment in the case.

To date, New Canaan police have received about 475 tips in the case "from all over the U.S. and even from Australia," and requests for surveillance video have resulted in "80 videos being shared with [the department]," according to Ferraro.

"The newly created website FindJenniferDulos.com has provided an additional tool for the public to communicate with Investigators on information that could possibly assist in locating Jennifer."
