A Clarksville man was arrested on multiple charges Wednesday after leading troopers on a pursuit.

Kentucky State Police say they tried to stop a red Camaro on US41 outside of Hopkinsville, but the driver, Kevin Gilmore, sped up and turned onto the Martin Luther King bypass.

The pursuit continued until Gilmore turned onto Fort Campbell Blvd. and struck another car, driven by Whitley Grace of Pembroke. Grace was later treated for non-life threatening injuries.

Gilmore fled on foot, but was caught by a trooper and taken into custody without further incident.

Gilmore was arrested and charged with several offenses including fleeing or evading police 1st degree and trafficking in a controlled substance 1st degree, 2nd offense or greater, greater than or equal to four grams cocaine.
