Richard Pentreath: Prestatyn arson suspect apprehended

A 63-year-old man wanted in connection with a fire in Prestatyn has been arrested following a manhunt.

Richard Pentreath was wanted on suspicion of arson with intent to endanger life following the fire on 6 October.

Police launched an appeal for Pentreath, last seen at Crewe Railway Station on the same day.

He was arrested by the Metropolitan Police's Fugitive Unit on Friday.

North Wales police confirmed Pentreath, also known as Hilary Clifford Thomas, was being transported to the region for questioning.
