Jimmie Ward, George Kittle on 49ers simulated practice report for Monday

In addition to Eric Reid and Jaquiski Tartt, the 49ers listed Ward and Kittle on their first practice report of Week 3.

The San Francisco 49ers did not practice on Monday, but released an estimation of what their practice participation report would look like if they had. This is a common practice, and the Los Angeles Rams did the same thing. The two teams will meet in Week 3, and we’ll have more injury information as the week progresses.

For the 49ers, we already know that safety Eric Reid has a PCL injury and will not play against the Rams. Nor will linebacker Reuben Foster, who is dealing with a high ankle sprain. Both of those players were listed as “out” in the simulated report.

Joining them was safety Jaquiski Tartt and tight end George Kittle. Tartt has a neck injury and head coach Kyle Shanahan referred to him as “questionable” in a conference call on Monday evening. He would likely be starting in place of Reid if he can go, so his status is one to monitor.

Finally, safety Jimmie Ward was listed as a limited participant. He got plenty of work in Week 2, so provided there are no setbacks this week, he should be good to go.

The Rams are relatively healthy, listing running back Malcolm Brown, tight end Gerald Everett and cornerback Kayvon Webster as out for their own simulated practice session.
