A new video showing a teacher beating up a student in the classroom of a school in Fujairah, United Arab Emirates, was published on the social media on Monday.

In the eight second video, a male teacher is seen hitting a seated student on the head several times at a public high school.
The student's stifled screams are heard as the teacher continues to hit him.
After the incident, UAE's Minister of Education, Hussain Al Hammadi, tweeted that a hotline has been for parents and students to contact the ministry.

"The step (to set up a hotline) has been taken to establish effective channels of communications with the students and their parents."
The Khaleej Times reports that the Fujairah Education Zone is currently investigating the alleged assault and has taken statements from both the teacher and his victim.
The video is the thirds within a fortnight showing teacher violence against student in the classroom.
