Anderson is expected to land on the 10-day injured list after spraining his right ankle in Tuesday's 6-3 loss to the Red Sox, Daryl Van Schouwen of the Chicago Sun-Times reports.
The White Sox will wait on any decision until after Anderson is re-evaluated Wednesday and undergoes an MRI exam, but the belief is the sprained ankle he sustained Tuesday is serious enough to keep him out for the next week and a half. He was helped off the field by manager Rick Renteria and an assistant trainer and will certainly miss Wednesday's series finale.
