Golden Nuggets: We might beat the Bucs

Your San Francisco 49ers links for Saturday, October 22nd, 2016

So there’s another 49ers game. One that I actually believe they can win. Well, that’s of course if Jameis Winston decides to turn one of those horrid performances he’s been known to do this year. The fact the Bucs are missing half their defensive line also bodes well. Perhaps Colin Kaepernick can begin promoting the “Kap Sweepstakes” this weekend.

It’s nice that the 49ers schedule is about to get easier the rest of the way. It kind of sucks that our first 5 games had to be that brutally difficult. I’m not sure what I want out of this team for the rest of the season. This is not a champion-caliber squad, but I certainly don’t want to be rooting for loss after loss to go get one of those QBs that look promising, but still have question marks, either.

Sundays are cleared, it’s a matter of just watching and seeing who should stick around. At this point, if the 49ers win it can elicit a smile, but then that bittersweet gut reaction settles in that A: We aren’t going to the playoffs and B: we just cost more draft stock.

I hate these types of seasons, and I hate it when it gets to this point. Onto the links.
