BROSSARD, Quebec -- Montreal Canadiens goaltender Carey Price may not start against the Carolina Hurricanes at Bell Center on Thursday because of what coach Claude Julien described as a very minor ailment.
Price practiced with the Canadiens on Wednesday after backing up Al Montoya in a 2-1 overtime loss to the Detroit Red Wings on Tuesday.

Julien did not specify whether Price was injured, just that he was not physically at his best at practice and that a final decision will be made Thursday on whether he'll be able to face the Hurricanes (7:30 p.m. ET; SNE, RDS, FS-CR, NHL.TV).
"Carey wasn't at 100 percent today," Julien said. "It's very minor, but at this stage of the season we want to make sure our starting goalie is at 100 percent."
Price played and won both ends of a home-and-home series against the Ottawa Senators on Saturday and Sunday.
The Canadiens host the Senators for the third time in the span of a week on Saturday at Bell Centre. Montreal has a three-point lead on Ottawa atop the Atlantic Division with nine games remaining and the Senators holding a game in hand.
