WOW!! What an absolutely fantastic day we all had here at Wythenshawe Cricket & Sports Club, Northenden, as we welcomed over 140 children, friends, members and their families to Northenden's Community Christmas Party.
With lots of great attractions, rides, stalls, toys, sweets and lots more besides, a brilliant day was had by all.
Over the course of the day we had 2 great kids shows, Face Paints, Indoor Bouncy area for tiny tots, amazing Festive food and Cask Ales plus a special visit and present from Father Christmas himself assisted by his very special Elf Niamh.
The evening continued after the Kids Party with LIVE Music entertainment from "No Direction"
A BIG thanks to all our fabulous Club staff & volunteers, Amanda, Ian, Sandy, Courtney, Connor, Trisha, Liz, Bob, Fred, Mike, Ray, Tracy (photos) Mark Sproston for his kind donation & Wythenshawe Rugby Club for providing the evening entertainment.
Everyone worked so hard over the day, making lots of happy memories for everyone that came and enjoyed our fabulous hospitality and in doing so also helping to raise much needed funds for the charity "Action for Sick Children" on their Teddy Tombola where everyone won a lovely teddy bear.
It really has been great to see Northenden's community come together to celebrate this special time of the year over the past 2 weeks, in conjunction with all at Northenden Neighbourhood Forum, Carole Bond and all the main sponsors who contributed to Festive Northenden this year.
We think you'll all agree that a community that smiles together~thrives together!!
