Jordan Spieth celebrated his playoff-winning hole-out with an epic club throw

Jordan Spieth earned his second tournament win of the year in dramatic fashion on Sunday, holing out a bunker shot to win the Travelers Championship in a playoff.

His celebration certainly matched the moment.

The chest bump with caddie Michael Greller was great, and something we don’t often see in golf. But a different angle of the celebration showed a pretty outstanding club throw from Spieth.

Baseball has the bat flip, but I must admit, that club throw reached Jose Bautista levels of awesomeness. It even sent Greller dodging the club. The walk-off hole-out was reminiscent of Spieth’s first career win when he forced a playoff at the 2013 John Deere Classic.

And in all the craziness of that winning shot, Spieth calmed himself and urged the crowd to quiet down so Daniel Berger could attempt his putt. It doesn’t get much better than that.
