A Madison County man was arrested Friday when marijuana, paraphernalia and cash were found in the vehicle after he ran red light at Gaines School Road and Cedar Shoals Drive.
A search was conducted after an officer noticed an odor of marijuana while speaking to the 37-year-old Hull resident, according to police.
Three ounces of pot, a digital scale, three cellphones and about $600 cash were found in the vehicle, police said.
The man was charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana and failure to obey a traffic control device, police said.
