Bankers' association has new chairman

Elk City banker Sandy Werner will become chairman of the Oklahoma Bankers Association during the group's annual Convention and Trade Show this week in Catoosa.

Werner is CEO of First National Bank & Trust in Elk City. She will receive the honorary chairman's gavel from outgoing chairman Guy Sims on Wednesday, during the convention at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Catoosa.

Sims is president, CEO and chairman of Shamrock Bank in Coalgate. New officers and board members also will be installed during convention.

MapleMark Bank raises $90M in capital

TULSA — MapleMark Bank Inc., a Dallas-based bank with a Tulsa branch, said Tuesday that completed its initial capitalization by raising a $90 million.

The company said the funds came primarily from prominent families in Oklahoma and Texas.

MapleMark Bank is owned by Maple Financial Holdings, Inc., and run by Tulsans Tony and Eric Davis, longtime principals of The F&M Bank and Trust Co. MapleMark has a full-service branch in the Southern Hills Tower.

MapleMark Bank clients include higher net worth individuals, family offices and middle-market companies needing private and commercial banking and borrowing needs up to $15 million.
