Kyle Larson and Katelyn Sweet just became the latest NASCAR couple to announce they’re getting married.
Tony Stewart and now-fiancee Pennelope Jimenez got engaged over Thanksgiving, and, according to Larson’s Twitter account, he and Sweet are also now engaged. And he gave her a stunning ring to make it official.
In his tweet, Larson even poked a little fun at the situation for it not happening sooner. The two have been together for years and they have a son, Owen, who turned three Friday. And in November, they announced they’re expecting their second child in May.
Larson is also one of several NASCAR drivers with longtime significant others that are not married, and it’s even become a bit of a joke. So following Larson’s announcement, the NASCAR world got excited and offered congratulations to the happy couple.
