Grand Rapids Symphony presenting the music of John Williams

The Grand Rapids Symphony will present "Star Wars and More, The Music of John Williams," at 8 p.m. on Friday, May 6 and Saturday, May 7, and 3 p.m. Sunday, May 8, at DeVos Performance Hall in downtown Grand Rapids.

With his instantly recognizable scores, Williams has redefined the art of film music. Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt will lead the orchestra in selections from some of Williams' beloved movie hits, including "Home Alone," "Saving Private Ryan," "Schindler's List" and, of course, "Star Wars."

The show will also feature Benny Kim on violin and the Grand Rapids Symphony Youth Chorus led by Sean Ivory.

Tickets are $18-$95. Student tickets are available for $5. For tickets, go to www.grsymphony.org.
