Akhtar was an idol for other bowlers for his speed but not for his character. People love to watch him for his skill to bowl deadly Yorker with lightning fast deliveries.  The Rawalpindi Express made his international debut in 1999.

He came up with a fresh tweet. The 41-year-old former cricketer has played 46 Test matches and 163 ODIs. In Test cricket, he has taken 178 wickets and in ODIs he has taken 247 wickets.

During his career his fast bowling once injured Brian Lara  in 204 Champions Trophy  and broke the rib cage of Sourav Ganguly, and in 2002 Pakistan’s tour of Australia his fast bowling created a fear in Ricky Ponting but Indian players like Sachin Tendulkar, Rahul Dravid, and Virender Sehwag never let Akhtar get over their head.  Akhtar’s bowling made cricket fans crazy. He came to play cricket at a time when international cricket was full great bowlers like Glenn McGrath, Waqar Younis, Wasim Akram, and Shaun Pollock.  So the duel between batsmen and bowlers were fascination things of cricket.

Since Akhtar’s retirement, Pakistan gets Mohammad Amir, who can bowl fast with swing. Akhtar’s wish to do commentary for Indian channels ruined due to the cross-border terrorist infiltration and firing. Indians are angry over Pakistani.
