Jamal Adams stole the show at Pro Bowl practice on Wednesday, headlined by a big hit made in the name of New York Jets fans everywhere.
Don’t ever tell New York Jets safety Jamal Adams that the Pro Bowl doesn’t matter.
The first-time NFL all-star made the most of his debut practice in Orlando, capturing every moment with a small camera attached to his chest. While working out with AFC teammates, Adams kept morale high with slick dance moves and an overall cheery demeanor.

Adams proved to be a favorite among fans gathered to watch practice. The LSU alum even befriended a man in a Florida Gators hoodie, if only so Adams could prove a point to Jets teammate and Florida alum Marcus Maye.
He obliged several young fans who sought his autograph and even tried to get a few for his own collection.

The Pro Bowl is an event known for its relatively lax play, featuring tackles bordering on touch football. Adams, however, laid down arguably the biggest hit in NFL all-star history, much to the delight of fans gathered.
His victim? Pat Patriot.
While New England Patriots players will not partake in the Pro Bowl, as they prepare for Super Bowl 53 on February 3, their mascot was indeed on hand with other costumed characters of the NFL.
In a video obtained by ESPN, Adams arrives for practice and promises several AFC teammates that he’s going to “knock out” Pat at some point in the afternoon. Using a timecard from the children’s television program SpongeBob SquarePants to mark the passage of two hours, the video cuts to Adams now promising fans he’ll take care of the big-headed New England supporter.
The gathered public, sick of New England’s continuing AFC monopoly, relentlessly booed Pat all afternoon. Adams takes out fan frustration on Pat with a full speed tackle, much to the delight of some of his AFC comrades.
Fans at #ProBowl practice were booing the Patriots' mascot all day.

Adams is one of three Jets in Orlando for the Pro Bowl, joining special teams standouts Jason Myers and Andre Roberts. The game will be held on Sunday afternoon at Camping World Stadium (3:00 p.m. ET, ESPN).
