Which NASCAR driver will win the Overton’s 301? Here’s how you can watch the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series race at Loudon live, on TV and online.

This Sunday the Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series touches down in Loudon, New Hampshire for the most oddly named and numbered race of the 2017 NASCAR season: the Overton’s 301.

This race was known as the New Hampshire 301 last year when Matt Kenseth won it. And it’s fair to say that Kenseth would love to win the Overton’s 301 again since that would certainly be a big feather in his cap as he enters free agency at the end of the season. Kenseth freaked out the NASCAR world when he said he does not have a job next year, with many tipping him as the new favorite to replace Dale Earnhardt Jr. in the No. 88 Hendrick Motorsports car.

The 2016 edition of the Overton’s 301 was led off by Earnhardt’s teammate Jimmie Johnson, who has maneuvered himself into second place in the NASCAR points standings despite crashing out, so he could certainly use a good result too. And don’t forget Dale Jr. still wanting to notch one more win before he hangs up his helmet. Will the trip to Loudon turn into a battle between the sport’s veteran drivers for a slice of supremacy?

The Overton’s 301 is poised to be a NASCAR Cup Series slugfest even if it has a strange number of laps. Especially since the only one that matters is Lap 301.
