2 Gunmen Shoot Security Guard's Vehicle, Police Seek Suspects

SEVERN, MD — Authorities have released a surveillance camera photo of two men believed to have fired multiple gunshots at a private security officer in the Meade Village community in Severn. Anne Arundel County Police say the officer's patrol vehicle was struck several times about 7:40 p.m. on April 23; he was not injured in the shooting.

The gunfire occurred near the intersection of Meade Village Circle and Meade Village Road as the private security officer assigned to patrol the community sat in his vehicle. Police say two unknown males began shooting at the security guard, who was able to drive from the scene.

Multiple officers and detectives found evidence of a shooting, but failed to locate any suspects. Anne Arundel County Police are asking anyone with information about the gunmen to contact Western District Detectives at 410-222-0750 or the TipLine at 410-222-4700.

The photo released shows the suspected gunmen just before the shooting. They are described as two black males wearing all black clothing, hoods and gloves.
