The 44-year-old was joined by his wife Amanda Anka, daughter of famed crooner Paul, and their two daughters as they made their way into JFK Airport.

And the quartet will surely be spending much more time on the west coast now they have their own sprawling estate.

They have long owned a 2,617 square foot house with five bedrooms and three bathrooms in the Laurel Canyon area of Los Angeles that property records show they picked up in the fall of 2002 for $885,000, however it is understood they spend most of their time in New York.

But Jason is very much in demand, so it will make much more sense to have a more permanent base there.

Jason has starred in a string of box office hits in recent years, including The Change-Up, Couples Retreat and Paul.

Perhaps the most striking feature of the 6,148 square-foot home, is the grand spiraling staircase, which leads to both wings of the upstairs area.

One wing features the master suite, which boasts his and her baths, dressing rooms and a balcony, while the other wing houses two additional bedrooms, a bathroom and a lounge.

This privacy, yet comforting closeness will be a boon for family man Jason.

It also has a self-contained one-bedroom guest house with its own living room and kitchen.

The estate also has plenty of outdoor facilities, including a large pool area as well as a giant deck, which features a fountain and a gazebo.
