John Lewis Black Friday deals 2023: Cyber Monday discounts now live
THE wait is finally over. Cyber Monday is here and deals at John Lewis just keep getting better, especially if you're making upgrades around the home.
The retailer launched its offers early, with deals across fashion, homewares and electricals - but now there's more to enjoy in the official John Lewis Black Friday sale, especially with today's Cyber Monday deals.

The deals include beauty and selected home appliances and tech items.
Standout tech deals include £300 off the Samsung QE50QN90C (2023) Neo QLED HDR 4K Ultra HD Smart TV, which is now £999.
There are also £120 off the 2023 MacBook Air and more Apple discounts.
Elsewhere shoppers can get 20% off selected premium fragrance brands including Tom Ford and Marc Jacobs.

When does the John Lewis Black Friday sale end?
The John Lewis sales end at the close of Cyber Monday on 27 November.
Different departments launched their offers on different dates so it could be that some price reductions continue on after Cyber Monday, finishing slightly later.
John Lewis is adding new offers throughout the month and some of the discounts we’ve seen end on 28 and 30 November, so it’s definitely worth checking their website even after Cyber Monday if you haven’t managed to bag that bargain beforehand.
Black Friday is also a great time to start shopping for Christmas, with some of the best prices you’ll see all year.
When does the John Lewis Black Friday sale start?
The John Lewis Black Friday sale is already underway. There are great deals to be had across the store's many departments, including home appliances, homewares, beauty, clothing and electronics.
The retailer launched its Black Friday offers at the beginning of November and you can expect to find discounts of up to 50%. Currently, we’re seeing lots of products with 20% off,
John Lewis also offers a price drop guarantee, which means if you buy a product from the retailer and then it’s reduced in price you can claim a refund on the extra you paid, within 35 days of purchase, whether that’s online or in-store.
When do the John Lewis Cyber Monday deals end?
In theory, Cyber Monday - which in 2023 is November 27, or today! - is the final day of this year's Black Friday sales.
That means today is your last chance to take advantage of those discounts from John Lewis.
So, make sure you get your shopping done by midnight tonight.
However, some retailers can be generous and extend their deals into the rest of the week - or even later.
It's worth checking out John Lewis's website after today to see if any of its Black Friday and Cyber Monday discounts continue.
But that's a gamble too!

Black Friday falls on 24 November 2023, the day after the US Thanksgiving holiday.
The shopping event is part of the wider 'Cyber Weekend', which widely concludes on Cyber Monday.
What was originally a US-only sale event, has over the last few years morphed into a global phenomenon, with thousands of international retailers taking part and millions of shoppers picking up amazing bargains.

How long is the John Lewis Black Friday sale on for?
Generally, Black Friday sales tend to last until Cyber Monday – though some do continue into December.
However, more and more retailers like John Lewis are choosing to offer early deals, allowing bargain hunters more time to browse offers throughout November, culminating in their biggest discounts over Black Friday weekend across a wealth of products.
John Lewis also offered early savings ahead of Black Friday in 2022 and has chosen a similar approach this year.
We do expect the retailer to offer price-match deals on any items that may be reduced in the lead-up to the official sale on rival sites too.

In the past, we've seen amazing deals in the John Lewis Black Friday sale, with some great discounts and bargains.
Since the retailer's offering spans all categories including fashion and beauty, furniture and homewares, it is an ideal one-stop-shop for snapping up everything on your wishlist, whether that's a new dress, microwave or sofa.
It's not uncommon for John Lewis to host bigger offers on some of their own branded items, too.

When is Cyber Monday 2023 and is John Lewis taking part?
This year, Cyber Monday falls on 27 November.
It is always on the first Monday immediately after Black Friday and usually concludes the offers for the Cyber Weekend.
Cyber Monday was traditionally the online counterpart to Black Friday, but as there has been a shift towards offering deals online throughout the sale period in November, Cyber Monday is now considered the end date of most sales.
Many retailers will offer discounts right up until midnight, however, some popular items tend to sell-out fast and may not still be available.
That said, some retailers continue their offers into December to benefit from the Christmas shopping rush.

What is the ANYDAY range?
The ANYDAY range focuses on high-quality, reasonably-priced products.
The line focuses on everyday essentials, ranging from fashion items like jackets, dresses and footwear, to baby items and home furniture and accessories.
Speaking about the fashion offering, Iain Ewing, Partner and head of Product Design, Fashion said: "The aim was to create a range that spans everyday great-value building blocks that underpin your wardrobe and great seasonal trend pieces, all at amazing prices”.

Does John Lewis offer any other discounts?
If you're an NHS worker you'll be able to save 10% using the Health Service Discounts website, more details here.
Unfortunately, John Lewis doesn't offer any other discounts for students or military personnel.

How much does delivery cost at John Lewis?
At John Lewis, you pay £4.50 for delivery on orders under £50, while purchases over £50 are delivered for free, though there are exceptions for large items and some items being delivered to non-UK mainland locations.
Smaller items are usually delivered within five working days. Check out all of John Lewis's delivery options on small or large items here.
Alternatively, you can click and collect for free on orders over £30, or arrange a Collect+ delivery to a location near you for £3.50.

Who owns John Lewis and Partners?
John Lewis is currently owned by a trust: that trust controls the John Lewis Partnership (JLP).
Dame Sharon White is the current chair of the company, however, she recently announced she is stepping down from that position.
Dame White has held the role since 2000.
There's also a partnership council, with 58 elected Partners, and a Partnership Board.
It's a large operation, as it covers all the John Lewis stores, the Waitrose supermarket branches, and all their related banking, financial and retail services.
Is John Lewis a real person?
Yes! There actually was a man called John Lewis, who was born in Somerset, who came to London to learn his trade.
He opened his own drapery shop on Oxford Street in 1864.
His philosophy involved buying good-quality merchandise, originally sourced from London, but he later travelled to Paris too, and then selling it at a small markup.
The business soon expanded, moving into ready-made womenswear, then childrenswear and home furnishings.
Lewis's descendants continued to run the business after his death.
It was Spedan Lewis who established the John Lewis Partnership in 1929.
Is John Lewis a UK brand?
It absolutely is. As above, it was established by a British man and carried on by his family - making John Lewis a quintessentially British brand.
That legacy has been upheld and John Lewis stores are all located across the UK and have become a symbol of excellence.
John Lewis has further widened its reach with the acquisition of other British brands, such as Peter Jones and Waitrose.
