Vermont State Police say a Warren man who went missing under mysterious circumstances has been found.

Police have been searching for Neil Denis, 55, since Wednesday. Thursday afternoon, he was found just a few minutes from his home.

Investigators searched Denis' home off Route 100 all day looking for clues.

Crews also searched in the woods off North Branch Road in Ripton. That's where Denis' truck was found abandoned Wednesday. It's off a few dirt roads and in a very remote location. They also searched Fire Brook Road in Ripton.

At 3:45 p.m., Vermont State Police confirmed Denis was found walking on North Branch Road several miles south of where his vehicle was located. He was taken to the Porter Medical Center in Middlebury for evaluation.

Police say an investigation is ongoing, but it does not appear to be suspicious at this time.
