The Temple Police Department arrested Jesus Calvillo, who was charged with stalking a woman for over a year.

The victim started receiving threatening and vulgar texts after she got advice from Calvillo to text a man who could get her access to prescription medication.

The texts the victim received were at first sexual propositions, then she began to receive pictures of men and their genitals. She then began texting the numbers back to stop and then blocked the numbers. Calvillo then began texting the victim from several different numbers in one night.

In July 2017, the victim’s car was broken into twice and almost set on fire. After that incident, Captain Lucas Dragoo stepped in to try and divert the texts from Calvillo to him, acting as the victim.

When the texts were now sent to Dragoo’s phone, texts from numerous numbers began coming to him. He kept blocking the numbers, but Calvillo would again text from a different number.

On Jan. 10, 2018, Dragoo received texts from Calvillo threatening to kill the victim by shooting her in her house.

The victim did not feel safe, changed her number several times, sold her home and moved out of the state of Texas to get away from Calvillo.

The warrant of arrest was issued for Calvillo, and he was arrested for a felony offense of stalking on May 21.
