USF’s game against No. 11 Houston scheduled for Thursday at the Yuengling Center has been postponed because of positive coronavirus cases and the ensuing contact tracing within the Bulls basketball program, the university announced Wednesday night.

No makeup date has been scheduled.

It’s the third game this season related to the virus that USF (7-5, 3-3 American Athletic Conference ) has either had to postpone or cancel.

It has been a rough week for the AAC. Besides Houston at USF being postponed Wednesday, a pair of SMU games — at Memphis on Thursday and against visiting Wichita State on Sunday — were called off due to virus issues with the Mustangs. A day earlier, Cincinnati had to postpone its home came against East Carolina due to virus issues.
