AKRON, Ohio - It will truly feel like spring on Thursday - if not summer. Akronites can expect a warm-up to the upper 70s, with mostly sunny skies amplifying the highly anticipated heat.
Morning lows will dip to the mid to upper 50s. Winds will be a bit breezy, but with temperatures so warm there won't be much of a wind chill.
In the late afternoon Akron will reach the high of 77 degrees, before settling in the low 70s to mid 60s the rest of the evening. Again, winds will speed up but there shouldn't be a noticeable chill.
High pressure will keep the skies mostly sunny, and rain chances at bay. However, Friday will be the last hot day with sun before widespread thunderstorms move in this weekend.
