Rangers vs. Astros: Lance Lynn will stymie a flat Houston

Finally some good news for presidential candidate Mayor de Blasio. His “keys to the city” show at Wednesday’s USWNT celebration bumped his approval rating from 0.9 percent to 1.3 percent. Bad news? Megan Rapinoe has declared she is now a candidate for POTUS. … But you’ve got to know your audience before launching F-bombs, Megan. Average age at the parade was 12, so Rapinoe will have to work on her communication skills. … Parade numbers were estimated to be in the thousands but Sean Spicer said “this was the largest audience ever to witness a parade … period.”

I love a parade but opted instead for the “Handicappers’ Lives Matter” convention on the last day of the All-Star break. Event, held in Nothing, Ariz., slowly devolved into a poker game until someone threw a chair to get everyone refocused.

Break’s over. Time to wake up and smell the covfefe. One game on the sked. Astros are at the Rangers. Houston, waffling on a starter, is likely to go with Framber Valdez (3-4, 4.57). Texas counters with Lance Lynn (11-4, 123 K’s). Hoping the Rangers catch the superior Astros flat off the break. 20 units on the Rangers.
