Wendy Williams opened up about a secret personal battle during an emotional segment on her talk show Monday.

The host revealed that she has been living in a sober house and said she wanted viewers to know her story.

“After I go to the Pilates, I go to several meetings all around town in the tristate area,” Williams said. “I see my brothers and sisters caught up in their addiction and looking for help. They don’t know I’m Wendy. They don’t care I’m Wendy. There’s no autographs. There’s no nothing. It’s the brothers and sisters caught up in the struggle.”

Williams, 54, said during the segment that she has struggled with cocaine in the past but never sought the appropriate help.

She said she hadn’t even told her parents about living in the sober house, noting that only her husband, Kevin Hunter, knew what she was dealing with.

Williams considers the men she lives with at the sober home to be her family.

“We talk and read and talk and read and then I get bored with them,” she said.

Williams added that it’s lights out at 10 p.m. at the house, and that she has a 24-hour sober coach who drives her to the home every day.

Sober homes can be characterized as places that offer resources for residents battling addiction and substance abuse.

The longtime host returned to the “Wendy Williams Show” in early March after missing multiple months for a leave related to heath concerns. Williams announced in January that the extended break was due to complications with Graves’ disease, which she revealed she had been diagnosed with last year.
