Live on Abilene, area stages: Hippie celebration continues at Play Faire Park

The three-day International Dayz of the Hippie celebration at Play Faire Park, 2300 N. Second St., will continue at 8 p.m. Friday with an Earth Day concert featuring local singer/songwriter Tony Barker. A beginner tye-dye workshop will be offered for $10 at 6 p.m.

The festival will wrap up with the Tree Hugger's Ball starting at 7:45 p.m. Saturday, with music by Tripp Mathis and the Traitors, Happy-Ochs and Kat Del Rio.

Admission is $6 on Friday and $10 on Saturday, with a $5 cooler charge both nights.
